A few years ago I went on a vacation with friends, biking in the mountains of North Carolina. Brevard, North Carolina, to be exact. In Transylvania County. Off and on throughout the vacation I brought up the idea of vampires and werewolves and all that might be associated with Bram Stoker’s Transylvania. Nothing stuck … UNTIL I got home and realized that the white squirrels seen here and there around Brevard were GHOST squirrels.
